ASHLEY HOCKENBERRY, LSW
Licensed Social Worker
Ashley is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Penn State University and her Master of Social Work from Temple University. With more than 15 years of experience in human services, Ashley has worked with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings. Much of her career has focused on supporting children, parents, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions.
Ashley has experience helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, grief and loss, complex family dynamics, life changes, and a variety of other emotional and relational concerns. She has also worked in medical settings, providing support to individuals and families coping with chronic illness, serious health conditions, caregiving responsibilities, and the aging process.
Ashley believes that each client is the expert on their own life and values a whole-person approach to care. She is passionate about helping individuals identify their strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. Using an eclectic, trauma-informed approach, Ashley incorporates strength-based, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs. She strives to meet people where they are and walk alongside them as they navigate challenges, growth, and healing.
Ashley is committed to creating an authentic, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences and working toward their goals.
When she is not working, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, exercising, and reading.
