Mia-Megan Foo LAPC
Licensed Associate Professional Counselor
Born and raised in Malaysia, I bring a global perspective to my therapeutic work. My journey led me to the United States, where I completed both my undergraduate and graduate studies in counseling, including a semester abroad in Eastern Europe that deepened my appreciation for cultural diversity. I’m passionate about learning and connecting with people from all walks of life—each story broadens my worldview and enriches my ability to support clients with compassion and insight.
As a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but take an eclectic and flexible approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to best meet each individual’s unique needs. My current focus is working with teens and adults as they navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and emotional regulation.
Whether you're facing a difficult life transition, struggling with internal self-criticism, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I’m here to provide a safe, supportive space where healing and growth can happen. I am also currently pursuing a doctoral degree in clinical and assessment testing to deepen my expertise and expand the ways I can serve my clients.
Let’s work together to uncover your strengths and move toward greater balance, confidence, and well-being. Therapy can be a difficult first step but an exciting journey and I hope to be able to walk alongside with you.
