With over 10 years of behavioral health nursing experience, I have developed extensive experience caring for individuals with a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health needs. My clinical background includes experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings across the lifespan, including my current role as a Psychiatric Nurse at Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital. These experiences have provided me with a strong foundation in psychiatric assessment, crisis intervention, therapeutic communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and thorough assessment practices.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), I am committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based, patient-centered care that supports the overall well-being of each individual. I believe effective mental health treatment begins with understanding each patient as an individual, including their unique concerns, experiences, needs, and goals. I place a strong emphasis on developing meaningful therapeutic relationships built on trust, respect, open communication, and collaboration.
My clinical approach emphasizes active provider-patient collaboration and individualized treatment planning to address both immediate concerns and long-term mental health goals. I value creating an environment in which patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions regarding their care while working collaboratively with other professionals to support a comprehensive approach to treatment.
