KRISTIN COOK, M.Ed, NCC
Licensed Associate Professional Therapist
Nationally Certified Counselor
Kristin (she/her) is a warm, grounded therapist who brings over 20 years of experience supporting others through her work in both education and the mental health field. A Lancaster County native, she earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Millersville University in 2009 and is currently pursuing licensure after successfully passing the National Counselor’s Exam. Her professional path is deeply informed by her own lived experiences, including navigating infertility and surviving cancer—giving her a rich, compassionate understanding of what it means to face life’s hardest moments.

Kristin works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, spiritual deconstruction, and the often-painful impact of childhood trauma on current relationships. If you find yourself repeating unhealthy relationship patterns, struggling to set boundaries, or wrestling with feelings of being “too much” or “not enough,” She offers a safe, affirming space to begin untangling these patterns. She has a special passion for helping individuals move through major life transitions, heal from difficult family dynamics, and build healthier, more connected relationships—with others and with themselves.

Kristin’s approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and deeply collaborative. She integrates tools from attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support healing at both the emotional and nervous system levels. Her work gently explores how past experiences—particularly from childhood—continue to shape present-day emotions, behaviors, and relational dynamics.
